Check out our latest launch idea for Crackdown 2, which is a new game on the Xbox platform.
Rather than create a traditional print ad, we decided to expose consumers to the world inside the game through a local community newsletter. Many of the Crackdown themes are brought to life through articles and advertising copy that feature some spookily familiar faces from our agency.
The mag also has a sound chip embedded, which recreates some of the atmosphere of the game. This newsletter was also supported by a radio ad and online activity. Also fake ads within the insert directing people to bogus websites and phone messages.
